My Review:
Another Amazing Book by Kristen Heitzmann
Wow! Kristen Heitzmann has written another amazing book, with a cast of characters that will draw you in with each turn of the page. This has a story line that had my heart pounding and me holding my breath for several turns of the pages. The Breath of Dawn is the newest novel written by Kristen and, in my opinion, one that you'll not want to miss.
Quinn Reilly has been living in Juniper Falls ever since she testified against a man who was sentenced to five years in jail. She has a home, a business, and friends, but all of this is being threatened as a result of one phone call in which her sister, Hannah, says "He's getting out and you'll pay for what you did".
Morgan Spencer, is a widower, father, and a corporate turnaround specialist, who is used to fixing other peoples problems. He has been living in Juniper Falls since his wife’s death, but he has kept himself so busy with the care of his daughter, Livie, and his work, that he hasn't taken time to grieve.
Morgan's ability to fix things draws Quinn to ask Morgan for help...I won't reveal any more--because I don't want to ruin the story for you; but I will say that if you chose to read this book you will not close it disappointed. Although you may be tired that next day, as it is very hard to put down.
Kristen lists The Breath of Dawn on her website as a stand-alone book. It does include characters from her other books The Still of Night, and A Rush of Wings, but Kristen did well filling the reader in, and the story flowed so amazingly well that I was able to read the story unhindered.
