The Basics of Life for Kids
I want to welcome my husband, David, to Our Homeschooling Pilgrimage today with his review of The God Puzzle. David is a graduate of Zion Bible Institute (now Northpoint Bible College), and a former Children's Pastor.
I enjoyed reading The God Puzzle. As a former Children's Pastor, I not only appreciate Valerie Ackerman's credentials, but her heart and knowledge in teaching/reaching children with the Gospel at their age level.
I was very pleased to see the connection with Answers in Genesis and the sound teaching in the book.
This book hits on the very basic principles of Scripture and the daily Christian life, not only geared toward the book's ages (7-12), but new believers would benefit from this book's information, as well.
I believe Valerie Ackerman poured out from her wealth of experience and self into this book and pray God will bless her with her future endeavors, including much success with this book that I enjoyed reading and will use with my kids.

Valerie Ackermann has a BA in Theology and has been a full time Children's Ministry Director at Parkwood Community Church in California for over 10 years.
