When Amy Lang receives this e-mail:
"Dear Amy,

She decides to investigate, but she is faced with her parent’s unwillingness to support her decision to look into her brother’s death; with her decision made she moves into the family’s cottage on Hope Beach and tries to get the local sheriff to re-open the case. When the sheriff is unwilling to reopen the case without sufficient evidence she sets out to investigate on her own. She also plans to move her midwife practice to Rosemary Cottage, where she hopes that in time she can finally put the pieces of her brother's death to rest once and for all.
Curtis Ireland has something in common with Amy Lang. Not only does he find himself attracted to her, but his sister was tragically killed just two short weeks before Amy's brother. Neither the person who piloted the boat or the boat involved in the “accident” has been found. Now only the memories of his sister and her surviving baby daughter, Raine, are left. With Gina’s will decreeing that Curtis rear Rainy, he becomes her legal guardian. He just can't come to terms with the secret he's hiding from Amy and needs to find a way to tell her before she uncovers it on her own while investigating Ben’s death.
Rosemary Cottage is the latest book in the Hope Beach Novel series by Colleen Coble. Rosemary Cottage takes us back to the Outer Banks and reintroduces the reader to the residents we met while reading Tidewater Inn. The reader is drawn into a mystery/suspense where some people are willing to go to extreme measures to keep their secrets from being discovered without a second thought to the consequences.
